The Roots: Why Sent2MeDesigns?

In 2025, I began a journey of unmasking centered around a tactile creative process. I built Sent2MeDesigns around the visceral truth that my art is rarely constructed and almost always received. It is triggered by a flash memory, a sudden scent, or a jagged realization. It was, quite literally, sent to me.

As I built that world, the art became a lightning rod for language, sparking poetry that felt like a profound relief. I realized the art and the words were deeply intertwined. The visual piece was either the trigger for a poem or the physical manifestation of one.

The Transition

Because the art and the words healed me in different ways, I have chosen to separate them so they can flourish individually:

• The Art: @sent2medesigns is returning strictly to its original, colorful art roots. No words, just the visual manifestation of what is sent to me.
• The Words: All of my poetry and black-lined ink drawings have moved to their own dedicated space at @bybrandilynn.
